Children's Miracle Network Fundraiser

Rite Aid is a proud sponser of the Children's Miracle Network, our fundraiser starts March 29th - May 16. We have several events planned to help raise money for Chilren's Hospital. Starting March 29th you will see all the employees wearing interesting hats until they reach their personnal goal of selling 100 balloons. These balloons have 6 valueable coupons worth $6.00 on each balloon. We have partnered up with Sand Hill Elementary and Mrs. Lybolt's classroom to do an art project that will be on display from April 9-25. This will be a silent auction, please come down & bid on these great pieces of art. On April 25th we will host a garage and bake sale in our Parking lot, we have several excellent bakers there should be lots of good stuff. Plus in our store we will have 2 large gift baskets up for raffle, $1.00 per entry. All procedes from the balloon sales, raffle tickets, art auction, garage and bake sale go directly to Children's miracle network which support our local Chilrden's Hospital in Seattle.

Hi Pegy,

Would you care to attend Rotary with me sometime? Is that something corp. wants you to do? You would make a great member.

Just a reminder that Wednesday is the monthly luncheon. It should be a great one. We have the new publisher of the Kitsap Sun speaking. He is 34. It should be interesting to hear what he has to say about the future of the paper and marketing in the Internet era.

We are also doing a new member orientation for anyone who wants to know more about the programs and benefits of the chamber. You are welcome and encouraged to attend. It gets going at 11:00 on Wednesday at Theler.

Thanks for being a member. See you Wednesday the 22nd.

Pegy,

Thanks for everything.

I hope you can attend Thursday night's "After Hours" at Boxlight (next to Petersen Chiropractic). It should be a great time. We get started at 5:00, as you know.

Hope to see you there.

Here is a link to the story about Boxlight in the Sun.

Pegy,

Thanks for everything. You have done a great job of making Rite Aid a part of the community. Thanks for attending the meet-up at the Rice Bowl too.

I have a favor to ask. Please read this press release and then, if you haven't already, sign up for Twitter. It is our next step in bringing the power of Internet Social Networking to the full membership. You are invited to attend the class too.

Thanks for the help.

Frank

Chamber Takes on Nationwide Leadership Role in Internet Social Networking

The North Mason Chamber of Commerce is taking on a nationwide leadership role in championing Internet Social Networking for its members and the community.

According to Frank Kenny, North Mason County Chamber President & CEO, "Chambers are uniquely positioned to bridge the 'Internet Gap' between businesses and residents. Once we multiply our innovative Internet member-networking site against the exponential reach of Twitter, we will achieve a tipping point for community relationship building and information sharing. In five years, if one doesn't have an established presence on these social networking sites, it will be comparable to saying you don't have email. I don't want my members left behind. Let's lead."

Kenny's goal is to make the North Mason Chamber the #1 Social Networking Chamber on the Internet in the country and to share the knowledge of how to social network nationwide.

To that end, Kenny conducts monthly Internet Social Networking classes for North Mason Chamber members and the community. The next class will be held Friday, June 5 at noon at the chamber's office, 23910 NE SR-3 in Belfair at the mid-town stoplight.
