Hi Kristy,

Thanks for being a part of our group After Hours.

Just a reminder that Wednesday is the monthly luncheon. It should be a great one. We have the new publisher of the Kitsap Sun speaking. He is 34. It should be interesting to hear what he has to say about the future of the paper and marketing in the Internet era.

We are also doing a new member orientation for anyone who wants to know more about the programs and benefits of the chamber. You are welcome and encouraged to attend. It gets going at 11:00 on Wednesday at Theler.

Thanks for being a member. See you Wednesday the 22nd.

Hi Kristy,

I hope you can attend Thursday night's "After Hours" at Boxlight (next to Petersen Chiropractic). It should be a great time. We get started at 5:00, as you know.

Hope to see you there.

Here is a link to the story about Boxlight in the Sun.

Kristy,

Thanks for putting your events and posting on this site. You are one of our core people.

I have a favor to ask. Please read this press release and then, if you haven't already, sign up for Twitter. It is our next step in bringing the power of Internet Social Networking to the full membership. You are invited to attend the class too.

Thanks for the help.

Frank

Chamber Takes on Nationwide Leadership Role in Internet Social Networking

The North Mason Chamber of Commerce is taking on a nationwide leadership role in championing Internet Social Networking for its members and the community.

According to Frank Kenny, North Mason County Chamber President & CEO, "Chambers are uniquely positioned to bridge the 'Internet Gap' between businesses and residents. Once we multiply our innovative Internet member-networking site against the exponential reach of Twitter, we will achieve a tipping point for community relationship building and information sharing. In five years, if one doesn't have an established presence on these social networking sites, it will be comparable to saying you don't have email. I don't want my members left behind. Let's lead."

Kenny's goal is to make the North Mason Chamber the #1 Social Networking Chamber on the Internet in the country and to share the knowledge of how to social network nationwide.

To that end, Kenny conducts monthly Internet Social Networking classes for North Mason Chamber members and the community. The next class will be held Friday, June 5 at noon at the chamber's office, 23910 NE SR-3 in Belfair at the mid-town stoplight.
